Alice Seeley Harris

Rebecca Seeley Harris talks about her great grandmother Alice, an inspirational woman whose photographs are on display in the exhibition 'Brutal Exposure: the Congo' at the International Slavery Museum, Liverpool from 24 January 2014.

Alice Seeley Harris' photos of Leopold's atrocities in the Congo were used in lantern lectures presented by the Congo Reform Association in the UK, Europe and America.
