The "New" Congo Reform Association Leadership
The "New" Congo Reform Association is led by Joey O'Connor and Ken Straw with the aim of bringing the top business, academic, entertainment, religious and government leaders from around the world to help end the Congo Conflict and create self-sustainability to the entire Central Africa region.
We recognize that Edmund Morel and the original founding members of the Congo Reform Association were giants of their day; courageous men who made great sacrifices in the service of mankind. We hope to serve their heroic legacy well.
Joey O'Connor is a founder and President of the Congo Reform Association, an award-winning screenwriter and author of twenty books. He is also the Executive Director of The Grove Center for the Arts & Media, a Southern California non-profit organization. He is also the producer of the award-winning short film, Unthinkable: The Scott Rigsby Story. Joey lives in San Clemente, California with his wife and four children. He is an avid triathlete, arts and beach lover.
Ken Straw is a founder and board member of the new Congo Reform Association. He is also an award-winning screenwriter who holds a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Arizona. Ken is a licensed real estate broker with the state of California with over thirty years experience in real estate. Ken resides in San Juan Capistrano, California with his wife. They are parents to six grown children and recently became grandparents. Ken is active in his church as well as an avid reader, hiker, and paddleboarder.
